year of the dragon

these were the first of the three year of the dragon af-1's released this year.

i bought these from 1948 the day they dropped.

at first i was a little disappointed. they were less 'in your face' than the 2011

year of the rabbit editions but then they grew on me.

i came to appreciate the subtle details and how good they looked not only

to hold, but to wear ( because you have to wear them right ? )

in the end, i rate them higher than the 2's and 3's
