in 1998 on the way back from a 4 week assignment in chile and argentina, i stopped off in new york for a couple of days with my mate chris.
we headed straight to the stüssy store which was on prince street at the time.
as well as t-shirts and sweatshirts, for some reason i bought these...
not sunglasses, just regular frames with plain glass. i didn't need spectacles, i just really liked the shape and style of these.
they came in a neoprene case
they had nice little details
and seemed to be very well constructed
they are called "michael"
twelve years later and now i need to wear spectacles for reading
and i'm so glad that i have these bad boys.
slap some varifocals in them and it's game on
