in 1998 on the way to a month long job in chile and argentina, me and my mate chris

stopped off for a couple of days in miami.

first thing we did was... no, first thing we did was to go for a swim in the sea...

second thing we did was to grab a beer, but the third thing we did was to buy some trainers.

we strolled into a big trainer shop just behind ocean drive and we each bought a pair of these bad boys.

i think we bought them because they seemed to be the most stupid trainers we'd ever seen.

they are however extremely comfortable... a bit like slippers perhaps ?

the leather is the softest imaginable, suede trims and they have an air insole.

and recycled rubber soles...

i read last week that nike are re-issuing them this summer after a 12 year gap.

perfect heat for the time of year.
