cooking with marky



it's a well established fact that i'm one of the country's finest cooks.

today i'd like to show you a step-by-step of how i made my lunch today.
a hearty and healthy lunch, one which top scientists recommend etc etc...


step 1.
take that cheese curry cup noodle out of the cupboard



step 2.
peel off the lid and step back when you see what's inside the pot.



step 3.
pour in boiling water until you realise you've poured in too much... then stop quickly, pull away the kettle and spill some water onto the surrounding area.



step 4. ( the touch of genius )
pile on a load of crisps. any flavour will do, but here i'm using salt and cider vinegar kettle chips. pile on as many as you like... trust me, they will all fit in.



step 5.
get a fork and push the crisps into the pot.



step 6.
go on... push 'em down and give it a bit of a stir...



step 7.
as if by magic, the crisps disappear into the murky pot of curried noodles and it should look something like this. 

then it's just a matter of tucking in with a fork, spilling some down your new t-shirt, using industrial language outloud and glancing around quickly for help even though there is nobody else in the room.



step 8.
at least there's not much washing up to be done.


next week i'll be showing you how to make a pizza with 5 meat toppings.
all you'll need is a telephone and a credit card.

    You're not doing the catering at that wedding, are you?
    PS. Colin used to have a similar recipe. He couldn't eat a Pot Noodle without adding sliced bread into it...
