i exchanged a few texts with 'handsome' gooner jeff yesterday
he was confident that man utd would lose to man city and that arsenal would beat wigan
so i decided to wager him twenty sheets.
although he missed off the apostrophe 'e' i took it that he had accepted my wager.
naturally enough, man utd beat man city 1-0 leaving arsenal the simple task
of beating wigan to keep their season alive.
ooops !
boom, boom, pow !
i decided it was only sporting to send gooner jeff a few sympathetic texts...
i'm still waiting to hear back from him.
